Golden Mean Calipers…
The Golden Mean – one of the primary magic numbers.
Its name is Phi
Its number is 1.61803399
Its symbol is 
the image for which is lovingly pinched from Wikipedia, where there is a wealth of knowledge.
The Golden Mean is the link between the nautilus shell, the sunflower and the pentagram. Phi is the root-note of the harmony that holds the universe together,
the root-note of the harmony that connects the iPhone to the Acropolis.
These calipers are not mass-produced.
They’re lovingly hand-crafted by me… in my garage hammering the little brass rivets into place with a proper hammer, just like the proper Ancient Greeks used to do.
The odd bit of roughness is a stamp of authenticity. Of personality. I wouldn’t want to mass-produce them even if I could.
